UT-8422 is a universal USB/RS-485/422 converter that does not require an external power supply, is compatible with USB, RS-485, RS-422 standards, and can convert single-ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-485 or RS-422 signals. It provides surge protection per line, and the extremely small inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of the RS-485/RS-422 interface. The RS-485/RS-422 end is connected through a DB9 male connector. The converter has zero-delay automatic send/receive conversion and unique I/O circuitry that automatically controls the direction of data flow without any handshake signals (such as RTS, DTR, etc.) or jumper settings to achieve half-duplex (RS-485) and full-duplex (RS-422) mode conversion, plug and play, ensuring compatibility with all existing communication software and interface hardware.
